Official: Russia, China to sign grain equipment dispatches deal soon

MOSCOW, Nov 2 (PRIME) -- Russia and China will soon sign an agreement on dispatches of equipment in the framework of the grain corridor project, Deputy Economic Development Minister Alexei Gruzdev told PRIME on Wednesday.

“Sustainable efforts have been noticed to continue. An agreement on supplies of the necessary equipment is expected soon,” Gruzdev said.

The U.S. $1.1 billion Russia–China grain corridor envisages construction of a grain terminal in the Zabaikalsky Region and of 29 grain elevators in various locations in Russia to secure the grain supplies.
